When is ADAS calibration needed?
Just about every make and model of vehicle have different circumstances when a calibration is required. Combined with the different ways each system function, it can be a challenge to identify when an ADAS calibration is required. Below are some of the more common circumstances that will lead to the need for an ADAS calibration.
NISSAN
360 Degree Camera System, Cameras in Decklid (only if 360 equipped), Front Bumper Cover/Grille, Left/Right Side Mirrors, with or without DTC
- If any camera or body component camera is attached to (mirror, grille, etc) is removed or replaced
- If around view monitor control unit is removed
Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Warning, Collision Braking, with or without DTC
- If sensor is removed or replaced
- After any collision to the front of the vehicle that would have caused the RADAR sensor to have shifted or be jolted
