When is ADAS calibration needed?
Just about every make and model of vehicle have different circumstances when a calibration is required. Combined with the different ways each system function, it can be a challenge to identify when an ADAS calibration is required. Below are some of the more common circumstances that will lead to the need for an ADAS calibration.
CHRYSLER
Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Warning, Collision Braking
Chrylser Forward Facing RADAR system requires calibration (with or without DTC code) if:
- If ACC RADAR is removed and installed
- Front-end structural repairs are made
- Suspension or alignment changes are made
- a DTC indicates the need for calibration
